TK integration into *A
This April and May I had a couple of flights from VIE to IST and to ESB on TK tickets on TK as well as TK code sharing flights (operated by OS). My experiences there were not necessarily pleasant so I decided to ask TK for comment writing some mails to [email protected] . No response so far 
Let me share my best story a journey from ESB to VIE via IST. All under TK ticket no. ESB to IST on TK metal. IST to VIE on OS metal.
The check-in in ESB @ the CIP Lounge was great, except that they could not check me through to VIE and asked me to get a 2nd BP in IST from the OS counter but they can check my luggage through

Arrived in IST I needed to run from domestic to international terminal, go to the OS counter where a very polite and welcoming young gentlemen explained me that he is very sorry, but he can only give me a middle seat - they did not know that I would arrive here - but if he would have known he would preallocate my preference as a SEN. .
Being late already they would let me in the priority line for emigration telling me that is only for TK-Gold members
Having in mind that I had 1:30 between the flights, I was surprised that I could not use the lounge as my flight was already on last call.
All in all: I'll try to avoid TK tickets on *A metal.
I don't know if I expect to much if I want to check in all my *A flights (on the same ticket) of a trip at once. Any similar experiences, or was this just a dark cloud above my head?

That's enough for me at the moment. I am just curious if something will have changed next time if I change planes in IST

I was on a *A award UA ticket from FRA-IST-AYT on LH and TK metal. The LH counter was able to check bags and give BP for both flights. When boarding the TK flight from IST to AYT the agent looked at the LH pass, looked a bit confused.. ripped the pass in half (not on the spot made to tare) and give me 1/2 of it back.. I boarded with no problems and my bags made it..
I have had problems with boarding passes in the past, I have always been able to check bags to final destination.
UA Ticket (A* Award) FRA-LIS (LH) LIS-TER (TP) LH was only able to get me BP to LIS and used the TAP transfer desk to get my 2nd BP. On the way back TAP from TER-LIS was given BP from the (S4) SATA agent (TAP partner handling agent) but they could not give me the LIS-FRA pass for a LH flight. When I got to LIS when to TAP transfer desk, they could not help. I had to go out to main check in area to get LH BP, and only middle seats were left..
