*Gold with oneworld
I am a *Gold member travelling on my first oneworld RTW soon,
Has anyone been given access to any *Gold lounges while travelling on a oneworld flight? Most lounges I see say travelling same day, same airline only..

No *A lounge access when flying on xONEx ONEWORLD tickets. As you have stated, you only get access when flying on a *A carrier.
If you have DONEx or AONEx ticket then you'd have access to oneworld lounges.
Now, if you have, say a "lounge membership" with UA/US, NW, etc., I think the rules of that membership allows you to enter ONLY the lounges that is permitted within the membership rules. So, you can enter UA RCC with RCC membership even when not flying a *A carrier but it doesn't allow you to enter, say OZ lounge in ICN, etc.
Enjoy your OW ATW. I really enjoyed my DONE4!

If you're SEN with LH, you can enter SEN/FTL lounges regardless of the carrier.

You can always try if you can manage the disappointment of being turned away. I got access to a RCC in ORD with my LH SEN card twice when flying AA. That's almost 4 years ago already and I didn't know the rules then so I just tried.
Not that an RCC is much better than the terminal...
