Question on *A Silver Status
I just gained United Premier/Star Alliance silver status earlier this week. When I called US Air today to add my UA mileage number for a flight I'm taking this weekend, they said it didn't show I have Silver status.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the system to update?

It takes about a week just to propagate through UA's systems. For it to become available to other airlines could well take another few days to a week.
