LAX lounges -
Have Chairman Preferred (USAirways) person with me and we are flying out of LAX on Thai to Bangkok with a long, long layover at LAX - what lounge is the best there?
We have Priority Pass too, but would rather not pay the guest fee for me.
I'd use all those fangaled shortcut codes but don't understand most of them - what is *A and *G ??
Many thanks....

Well, now, that's some webpage - lots and lots of things to look at and I'll be there for hours. Could you point me in the right blog and then I'll go back and read up on your other blogs when I have more time....thanks!!

There is one *G lounge at TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal), which is the terminal TG (Thai) uses at LAX. It is a common *A lounge shared by all the *A airlines in TBIT for their business class and *G passengers. As *G you can bring 1 guest travelling with you into the lounge also.
Note the lounges at LAX are all airside. This means you will need to have a boarding pass for TG to access the TBIT lounge. If you don't already have it from checking in at CLT (or wherever you come from), eg it is on a separate ticket, then you will need to wait for TG check in to open (should be 3-4 hours before departure).
If you are arriving at LAX on another *A flight, then you might also be able to use a lounge in the arrival terminal before you head over to TBIT (depending on airline and how much time you have).

You could spend some time in the U.S. Airways Club in terminal 2, but you're probably better off using the Star Alliance lounge in the TB International terminal (Thai's terminal)
You can bring a guest.
Edit: Kiwi Flyer beat me to it...
