Question regarding seating and preferred security line access
I hate to post this question as I feel it's probably been asked and answered somewhere in this forum. But I've scoured the past posts and cannot find an answer!
My situation: I have Silver status on US for 2008. When booking on Ted, I can't get access to priority seating. When printing my boarding pass on Ted, no priority boarding zone. When arriving at the United terminal, no priority access to security lines. It seems that United doesn't recognize my US status as Star Silver status.
My question: Is Silver status on US recognized as Star Silver (with a premier equivalent) on United? Do I have access to the perks of a United Premier member?

What do you mean by "priority seating"? If you're asking about Economy Plus, you do not have access to it as a Star Silver (even Star Gold does not get E+ access any more). As for security lines, it depends on the airport. Some allow *S, some don't.
