A Beginner's Question

Hi,
I have Aeroplan with approximately 9k miles, United airmiles (1,200) and have also LH, BMI and Thai without any miles.
I now have numerous flights with Star Alliance partners and was wondering which airline program should I stick to (Aeroplan/LH/United/Other).
In addition, if I take LH, can I move my already existing points at Aeroplan and United to them and how do I do that? Thanks!

Where do you live? Which airline do you expect to be using most? It's generally easier to spend (local) points with your (local) carrier, especially if/when you reach a good status level. Regarding transferring points from one FFP to another: it is sometimes possible, but it can be complicated. See
