Connection time at JFK

I am planning to come in to JFK from SFO on UA (first class) to connect to SQ (first class) to FRA. This seems to involve moving from T3 to T7 at JFK.

I dont like tight transfers. What do you recommend as a comfortable but not excessive transfer time?

Does SQ have its own lounge at JFK?

What time do you arrive JFK?
What time is the SQ flight?

Transfer on the free AirTrain will take about 8 minutes. Mid-day, trains run every 4 minutes. Take the train that loops around to other terminals. I believe thats the inside track.

SQ check-in when we flew business (Raffles, was around 10 minutes). To be on the safe side, allow 3 hours.

If I recall correctly, SQ uses one of the other * lounges at the terminal. It's small, with some hot food choices. Does SQ first allow use of the Virgin lounge?

SQ flight is about 9.30 pm. I was planning to take a UA flight getting in about 6 pm, so that sounds like plenty of time even allowing for dealys into JFK.

Do you know if I will be able to check luggage through from SFO to FRA?

Should be able to. If it is on separate tickets you will need to show UA your onward ticket at check in.
