Does anyone have any points of reference for a price for:

Circle Pacific, From the US in Y (preferably for the 22k BIS option)?

In addition, is it possible to do an open jaw on this? Such as leaving from LAX but returning to SFO?

Thanks in advance,
jeremy

I don't know if an open-jaw is allowed, but you could always just book the ticket back to LAX with a connection in SFO, and just skip the last leg.

These are base fares, taxes and fees (including fuel surcharges) are on top of these prices.

RTW:

YRWSTAR1 UA M Round-Trip 4069.00(USD)

Circle Pac:

YCPSTAR1 UA M Round-Trip 4390.00(USD)

To compare against one world:

3 Continent Fare:

LONE3 AA L Round-Trip 3900.00(USD)

Circle Pac:

LCIR22 AA L Round-Trip 4500.00(USD)

Great! Thanks so much for the info...

I'm flabbergasted at the prices, especially with the RTW cheaper than Circle Pacific, but it makes sense on the price hike over the past year.

Still considering options

Yes, open jaws are fine on a CPAC.

FWIW, the *A Circle Pac is a lot cheaper from Canada: C$3709 ex YVR. Right now, that'd be about US $3340 in Y.

Thanks for the info - that's actually really good news!

Since I'm WAS-based anyways, I'd need to get to the west coast to take advantage of this fare. Granted, it's usually more to get to YVR vs. LAX/SFO, but the savings actually seem to make sense.

Too bad the prices went up so dramatically this past year, but this is worth considering now!

Thanks,
jeremy

If you're an AA Plat, just use the One World fare, as it will allow you to start in WAS.

For anyone able to make it up to Canada, I'd strongly suggest taking a look at any of the Circle/RTW products from Canada. Our currency has dropped like a rocket (faster than it went up). The CCPSTAR is about $1K cheaper than out of the US. The OW ones are also cheaper, but not quite as much.
But it depends on the product.

It sure does. The *A RTW in First is over 14,000 Canadian Dollars, vs US$11,490. That really makes no sense, even when you consider the historical relationship between the Loonie and the Sawbuck.

And especially since you cain't hardly fly *A in F directly out of a Canadian airport to anywhere across either pond.

It's about equally out of whack in C/J going RTW. But the Canadian Circle Pacific's are deal in both Y and C......
