LAX United First lounge query

On the return leg of my lovely redepmtion flight LHR - LAX (out NZ C, back UA F) I'm wondering if it's worth bothering with the United lounge at LAX. After checking in I usually just head over to Bradley for a reasonable burger in the bar above duty free and spend a nice last hour with my parents. Any reason to change this routine?

The UA lounges generally aren't anything to write home about, but at least it's a proper first class lounge you have access to (not a Red Carpet Club which can easily be skipped).
There will be something proper to eat like finger sandwiches and pastries and you'll find free drinks as well, in the UA F-lounge at JFK they had Moet and Chandon available for self-service which was a very good reason for a long lounge visit
I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same in LAX...

It's pretty much up to you what you value, an extra hour with your parents or free drinks.
Unfortunately the lounge is after security, so you can't invite them as guests.

Why would you head over to Bradley? That takes way over 30 minutes roundtrip between there and the UA terminal. No reason that I can think of to go to Bradley.

The UA F lounge in LAX is pretty nice for an IFL, IMO. The views are pretty cool, it's usually totally empty (you may even spot a celeb!), the food is decent, and the agents there are nothing short of spectacular!^

Spending an hour in Bradley is just something we've been doing and beats sitting in the domestic terminals - I was trying to see if it was worth changing that. I might spend a half hour or so in the IFL if it's ok

Advantage Bradley - but only because you are spending the extra time with family. Just keep in mind that you're going to need about 15 minutes or so to get to UA in T 6 or 7.

Other than that, with the LAX IFL as an option, there is absolutely no contest. I'd even take even the RCC over TBIT.

Spent a couple of hours in the LAX IFL on Saturday before my flight back to LHR. The lounge ladies were pleasant and chatty, there was no more than eight people in it the whole time. Food was minimal but good, chips and salsa were very moresome, there was some passable sushi too. Free pour spirits if you want. Free wifi available with a scratch card available from the desk.

We were escorted onto the plane after everyone else had boarded.

All in all, very relaxing.
