Star Alliance Terminals

I saw a picture of PVG terminal 2 with the caption saying terminal 2 for Star Alliance. So it made me wonder, where else are there plans for a Star Alliance Terminal? I know at NRT, with the exception of ANZ, all Star Alliance airlines use Terminal 1, making it something like a Star Alliance Terminal. Also, I heard that there was plans to have a Star Alliance Terminal at LHR. So again, the question is where are there plans for a Star Alliance terminal other than NRT/PVG.

Also, what are the likely benefits from having such a set-up. Lastly, do other global alliances such as one world and skyteam have similar plans?

Munich terminal 2 already exists and is used exclusively by Star Alliance carriers.

Paris CDG terminal 1 will also be made a Star Alliance terminal I think.

Easy transfers, short MCT, common facilities such as check-in, lounges, baggage handling and arrivals service.

Shanghai Airlines along with other *A carriers serving PVG will occupy 50% space of the new Ternimal 2 set to open in December. This so-called "Move Under One Roof" projects will also roll out at PEK when CA & FM join the alliance.

Starting from March 2008, London Heathrow Terminal 1 will become the Star Alliance Terminal, with the majority of airlines completing their move by October 2008.

...except that SQ will still fly half their flights out of T3 according to some thoroughly bizarre logic. There are going to be a lot of confused people starting January 2008...
