Lounge just opened in new international terminal, which also just opened. Serves all *A carriers (SQ, UA, TG, NH, OZ) at SGN. Does not appear to be shared with other airlines (there is also a Royal Orchid lounge). Spacious and airy lounge with 2-story walls of windows overlooking main runway. Short 2 min walk to gates.
I'm here at 3pm waiting for 5:15pm SQ173. I was one of the first to check in. TG has a flight 1.5 hours after mine, then several other flights spaced generously throughout the evening, so it should never get too crowded. , Lavish selection of food. Standard fare for C lounge wrt to booze: JW Black & Red, Bacardi, Chivas 12, etc. 1 white wine, 2 red. Heineken, Carlsburg and 2 local beers. Several noodle selections (Pho, complete with accompaniments). 7 other hot dishes: meats, spaghetti & red sauce, fried rice, etc. Other items: rice cooker, hot hors d'oeuvres, fruits, decent bread/cheese/cold cut selection, some fancy looking individual sized pastry/desserts, sushi (mostly rolls) that does not look too great and does not contain any raw fish. Quality of everything is mixed. Sushi, as mentioned, is lousy; other stuff probably comparable to *typical* C lounges at *A hub airports. Not sure how food is for the early am UA flight; at least for right now, there is no vodka or bloody mary mix.
Business center not open yet, but looks it will have 5-6 internet terminals and a fax machine. There is free wifi (which can also be had sitting outside near the entrance to the club). I'm not very good identifying foreign electrical outlets, but these are plentiful and at least compatible with US 3-prong, among others.
Other info: Staff very friendly and attentive. Most of the seating is in groups of 4. There are 2 big comfy chairs with foot massagers. Toothbrushes in restroom. No showers.
PM me for photos, which anyone is welcome to post elsewhere.

Great - I'm fly BKK-SIN-HAN-SGN-SIN-BKK in a couple of weeks and was curious about the new terminal. Can you link the pics from something like photobucket?

As to woody comments, they are spot on. The new lounge is an airy departure from the old communist style lounge. The service attitude is a tad better and still need to be worked on. All in all, a very nice addition to the new international terminal.
