So if I have a J ticket on Air China, I wouldn't be allowed to use the lounge? I thought since CA joined *A that this might have changed. Do Air China flights even depart from TBIT?

Also, does NZ have their own lounge instead?

NZ departs from T2 (does CA also?) thus no access to TBIT lounge, and in any case they have their own great lounge (probably the best in LAX).

Thanks KiwiFlyer. Air China's website is pretty horrible, so I couldn't get a terminal number, but I found it on LAX's website. It is indeed Terminal 2, which is the same as NZ. I don't think CA has a lounge in LAX, therefore would a J ticket holder on CA be able to use the NZ lounges at Terminal 2? IF that is allowed, that would be great as I was thoroughly impressed with all the NZ lounges I encountered on the UA AKL fare.

- Your comment is not at all relevant since the poster is flying in UA F and therefore will not have access to NZ lounge in T2.

Just providing my feedback on UA F lounge at LAX. It is bad for an F lounge - even many business lounges are better.

Maybe. There is NZ and AC lounge. CA may contract one of the other lounges? NZ lounge gets very full at certain times - they can't even fit all the eligible pax on NZ flights so turn away any *G/F/C pax flying on other *A airlines.
