Circle Pacific Question
Hi, this is the first time i've looked at doing a fare like this. I am planning to travel on a CCPSTAR1, MEL-SIN-PEK-NRT-LAX-AKL-MEL (this comes in at less than 22k miles). my question is regarding the terms on ground travel not included in the CP fare.. I plan to do some internal US travel.. about 2,500 miles.. do these need to count in the CP fare calculation? or is that only when you need to travel between 2 cities in the CP fare.. e.g. arrive into LAX on the CP fare and Depart out of SFO.. then u count LAX-SFO. However I am arriving and deprating from LAX.. I dont exactly understand the condition related to this.
Appreciate your expert assistance. Thx.

The only mileage that would count would be the 'surface' sectorsin your example, if you arrive in SFO and depart from LAX with SFO-LAX not part of your CP.
Since *A CirclePacs do not allow for travel other than on cities in the West Coast, then it would seem to me that most if not all of your other U.S. travel will be done on separate ticket(s), and thus, not subject to the CP mileage calculation.
