F-lounge access
Hello all -
I asked this question on the TG board but it's actually more appropriate here now that I think about it, so apologies for the cross-post. (I'll admit I'm a bit skeptical of the lone reply I received over on that board as well). The question is this: I'll be flying from SIN to BKK on SQ in F-class, connecting three hours later to TG's non-stop 2-class plane from BKK to JFK (on which I'll be travelling in C-class). My question is whether I am entitled to use the TG or UA first class lounges in BKK based on my arrival in F-class.
I've certainly used f-lounges in the past when connecting from a long-haul F-class flight to C-class on a regional plane (thinking of the LH F-terminal for example) ... The Star Alliance site merely says you need to present an F-class boarding pass - but does it count if I'm presenting an F-class boarding pass for a flight that I've already flown that same day? Essentially, I'm wondering if I can use the UA or TG f-class lounges in BKK between these two flights.

TG is strict on this.
I have several times flown on a FRTW fare ( paid F class), but travelled in
C class on TG Asian routes where no F is available. I have requested
access to F lounge, and always been refused.
I was in the TG F lounge the first day the new airport opened.
On that day, at least, the C lounge was better equipped than the F
lounge. ( Hope its improved since then).
And I thought the TG lounge was the only Star lounge in the new airport -
are you sure UA has their own?
