Should *A create a new top tie program?

Star Alliance has two high tier programs: Star Silver and Star Gold.

While most member airlines have three or four tiers in their loyalty programs, and Star lumps the top two into "Star Gold". This is similar to SkyTeam's Elite and Elite Plus.

OneWorld has three top tier members: Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

Should Star create a new top tier to lump up most first class and top tier fliers, call it "Star Diamond" something?

Star Gold members do not have access to first class lounges, but OneWorld Emerald members do.
