SIN *Gold Lounge Access
Hi, I have 6 hour layover in SIN. My flight is with SQ and I have a *Gold card. Is it possible for me to gain entry to other *Gold lounges in the other terminal? Any other *Gold lounge you would recommend? I thought it would be nice to have a visit to kill some time. Thanks.

assuming you are travelling in economy, then you have a choice of premier lounge (default lounge for *G flying Y on SQ), and in the other terminal TG or premier lounge.

The TG lounge is nothing great -- comfortable enough, and usually not crowded (the times that I was there), but windowless and with a pretty minimal food selection. The SATS Premier Lounge is often overcrowded and a bit loud, but has floor-to-ceiling windows, showers, and usually some kind of hot food in addition to snacks and sandwiches. Both lounges have free WiFi. Enjoy your layover!

NH lounge is the other *G lounge at Terminal 1, but in my opinion, is worse than TG lounge. NH lounge opens at 8.30pm, almost immediately after TG lounge closes for the day.

When I went through SIN a week or so ago, the TG Lounge was closed for renovations and so the SATS Lounge in Terminal 1 was available to *G pax, or at least those *G flying TG as I was.

I have used that SATS lounge at T1 while travelling on OZ (OZ contracted with SATS lounge, thank goodness) and it was a good lounge, with hot food and ice cream. Those *G folks travelling on TG out of SIN would surely hoped that the renovation at TG lounge would take an extended period of time.
Let's hope we see an improvement at TG lounge after their renovations.
