Do HP flights with US Code earn *A Status

Is it possible to book HP flights on a *A RTW tickets if they have US flight numbers?

Do they earn *A status if sending points to LH or NZ schemes, as HP (the operator) is not in *A.

Tried to do a search of this forum, but couldn't get any results.

Yes they earn *A points. All HP flights also have a US number (often the same). The only reason that HP shows up is that US Airways has not completed the merger of the two reservation systems Shares and Sabre.
