Dedicated Star Alliances lounges
I just read that two new dedicated Star Alliance lounges are being developed:
a. at CharlesdeGaulle airport in Paris; and
b. at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok.
How are the existing dedicated Star lounges at Zurich international airport? and at Chubu international airport near Nagoya?
how do they compare with the individual airline lounges? at airports with Star dedicated lounges, do they also maintain individual airline lounges (and if so do they still allow Star Gold access)?

The *A lounge in ZRH is run by LH.
As I've always entered as SEN, I don't know if they allow all *A Gold to enter the SEN side.
The SEN lounge side is the best in the LH system that I have experienced.
It makes the FRA SEN lounges look really bad.

Kiwi Flyer where is this lounge?
Since the merger I have only flown LX once. On C as SEN, going to TLV.
Was sent to a commercial (contract) lounge in the proper terminal (don't remember which one). It's the same terminal that flies to USA.
It was nothing to write home about. Actually very dissapointing. Nowhere as nice as *A in ZRH.

LX lounge at ZRH is at the base of "A" pier which is used by LX flights (and now also LH).
I think the lounge you refer to is in terminal E (you had to take a short airtrain ride to get there?) and is Bellevue. If you have plenty of time you could of course visit lounge in the main terminal (*A or LX lounge) before taking the train out to E. Just remember to allow enough time (train + security checkpoint = 10 minutes).
