Any advice on how to find a sub $500 fare WAS-CDG around Thanksgiving holiday (+/- week) for a MR/vacation? Should I book now at around this price or wait for it to drop??? (UA/*A would be the metal of choice)

This has nothing to do with mileage runs. FWIW, there are plenty of tips on finding cheap fares in the MR stickies.

As UpgradeMe correctly pointed out, the Mileage Run forum is not the proper place for asking for fare assistance. Please read the Welcome to the Mileage Run forum thread for what is and is not appropriate for this forum. Also, as UpgradeMe pointed out, there are various tools that you can use to find fares. Since your concern is flying Star Alliance flights, I am going to move this to the Star Alliance forum. For what its worth, I've noticed that the US based carriers don't seem to be offering the kinds of deals that the European based carriers are offering. I would suggest checking fares on Lufthansa as I recall seeing some sub-500 fares for this route recently - not sure if they're available during the busy Thanksgiving travel season though.
