Do *A VUSA's qualify for miles?

I will be putting them TG *G card if they do.

Also how many coupons will be needed for a LAX - Hawai flight return?

What booking class are they booked in?

If it's the :-: North American airpass, they are booked in H on AC and in V class on UA and US.
If TG's FF scheme allows fares in H on AC and V on UA/US to accrue, then you're okay. Minimum 3 coupons, but there is a hefty surcharge each way on the HNL flights on top of the airpass cost - something like USD150.00 from memory.
