? re: Maximum STOPOVERS

I will be completing my current RTW in BKK in December and plan to do another one ex. BKK. I went over the rule changes eff. April 2005 and have some more detailed questions on stopovers for further clarification.

Do I understand correctly that I can have up to 5 US stop overs and 3 Canadian stopovers. for the new RTW ?? On my last RTW, I was allowed a TOTAL OF five between Canada and the US.

Also, do the Caribbean islands AND Hawaii count as part of THESE STOPOVERS FOR the purposes of RTW? IF NOT, then is this a valid part of an RTW ex. BKK:
bkk-mnl-icn-lax-las*-yyz-yow*-phl-aruba*-phl-lga*-yyz*-sea*-lax*-hnl*-sfo-yul*-fra-onwards...
* are the STOPOVERS
IF my understanding is correct, then this rule change is great for maximizing North American Travel. I am based in YOW.
Thanks for your help.

Canada and USA are now considered as seperate countries in the stopover rules paragraph. The revamp has bought HNL/Hawaii into the U.S.A. fold - previously the stopover rules for Canada/USA were stipulated as being for the continental USA/Canada, however under the new rules Hawaii/HNL is one of your 5 permitted USA stopovers - unless you start your trip in continental Canada/USA.

Carribbean was never a part of USA stopovers in the old rules and certainly aren't in the new ones either.
