3 PAX - Lounge acccess
I understand that *G status has access to Star Alliance lounges on the same date as travel on international flights. How does this privilege extend to the *G's travel partners?
For example, if 3 passengers are traveling together on the same PNR, one of the 3 is *G, can all three access the lounge? If only two are allowed, can the third pay a fee? Are they strict at the lounges on these types of things?

If you're in F or J it's a moot point as each pax in those cabins has entry. If you're in Y you can bring one guest only. Pay for entry policy is per the lounge you choose and often down to the location you are at.
Traditionally the Lounge Matrons are a hard nut to crack and the forums are littered with many similar stories about Atillaress the Hun door guards.
Best bet is to get chatty with another single travelling *G at check-in lines and see if they'll coat tail one of your trio into the lounge with them. This option has a fairly good success rate in my experiences, but there are those who of course won't and can take offence at being approached.

Longe Access depends
Due to my experience it depends on the airline and the mood of the lounge Agent.
For example LH has a policy that you can bring one guest or your family members. So you can bring your wife/husband and your children with beeing *G.
An other time i had two guests with no status 1 *S ans 2 *G.+
After the policies we should have gone to the Business/Silver Lounge.
We politely asked and were allowed in the First/*G Lounge (in MUC!!!).
It is definitly better to ask friendly than to walk in twice with two different guests.

AC Maple Leaf lounges
I just read the terms for the Maple Leaf Lounges and it says that *G may access the lounge on the same day as travelling international on a *A flight.
It also says one guest is permitted complimentary, as long as they are flying *A the same day internaionally. It also says that that there is a fee for additional guests (either $10 CAD or $20 CAD depending on the time of day).
So I guess I will be able to take the 3rd guest with me, for a fee.

I stopped in the Maple Leaf Lounge in YUL today and asked about my future travel with the two other PAX on AC and I was told I would be able to bring in one free and one for $20 CAD.

2*G (My Father and Me)
1*S (My Wife)
2 Nothing. (Two Guests)
After the rules my father and me could have taken the guests to the SEN/*G Lounge and my wife should have gone to the FTL Lounge (Mentioned that only as a joke...) or
we all to the FTL Lounge. But after asking politely we could take one more to the SEN/*G Lounge.
