NZ has Koru Club upstairs. As business class passenger you will have access to this, and also Maple Leaf lounge next door.
Unfortunately you also have the nightmare of a transit in LAX. Clear immigration (complete with fingerprint and eyescan) & customs (possibly need to get bag and recheck at the security station - I did need to last time connecting other than transit on NZ1/2 which AFAIK is the only exception). Then outside and upstairs to go back through security. Dont forget to hand the green visa waiver form in at the lounge, or at the gate. Will cause major hassles next time you visit US if you dont.
I did similar earlier this year and it took almost 2 hours to reach the lounge
(this despite knowing my way around and walking very fast).
Enjoy your flights
PS any reason why didnt fly NZ1 all the way through?
