Booking Class on FRWSTARn on single-class flight

When taking a single-class (economy) fllight on an F-class RTW, is the booking class B or Y? Thx,

I believe that depends on the carrier. AFAIK UA and AC recently changed from Y to B resp. H which I think is unfair since one is not buying a discounted Eco-fare but a Biz or First class ticket and this should not be penalized in any way.

Book the class the carrier you are flying on for that segment uses for the Star 1/2/3 Y cabin. All are M except NH/UA in B, AC in H and NH/OZ domestic flights in Y.
