help organizing a RTW
tis is for the RTW experts.this will be my first RTW.
i live in YYZ but that doesn;t mean i'd necessarily originate my RTW from there if ican get a better deal elsewhere.
any suggestions on where i might get better price?
i have to make trips to POS, VIE, HKG, PEK, and possibly SIN. if i could squeeze a few days in DUB possble near the end, that would be great.
i need to stay on *A metal and get satus points. i missed qualifying for gold last year by around 5,000 miles and would like to make my qualifying status miles before march, (when my present benefits run out) i am with Aeroplan and they will automatically renew my gold (elite) satus for 2005 and 2006 if i make my qualifying miles early on.
i'd be interested in business class since that's a lot of bum time. it seems to be a pretty good deal in business for all those legs (from prices i've seen)
i'd like to do the whole trip between the 1st and 25th of feb.
any suggestions on how to best book this and where?

Start searching and reading the many many posts that have discussed this topic through and through.
I know it sort of is easiest for you to ask us here what to do...but it would be nice if you can read all that has been discussed many many times and then decide how and where you'd like to start the trip.
Since you are in Canada, it would be no problem for you to issue the ticket there for a ticket originating elsewhere at that country's RTW fare. You still however need to go there to start your journey. Your best bet is perhaps engaging the services of a good travel agent who knows at least what to do with RTW fares.
