‘Circle Asia’ fare from Star Alliance

Star Alliance has added a ‘Circle Asia’ fare to its range of airpasses and circle fares now showcased on a dedicated website for Australian travellers (www.staralliance.net.au).

The new Circle Asia fare can be up to 15,000 miles (from $1999 plus taxes) or 18,000 miles (from $2299 plus taxes) and can include as many as 18 sectors between 17 countries in North Asia, South-East Asia and Australasia.

This is in addition to Star’s existing Asia Airpass which offers between three and six coupons for travel between specified Asia city pairs as an add-on to an Australia-Asia fare.

Other existing Star Alliance circle and pass fares include ‘Circle Pacific’, ‘European Airpass’, ‘North American Airpass’ and ‘Brazilian Airpass’.

The website also details Star’s four round-world fares and a round-world mileage counter.
