Into Which Program Should I Put My Miles

I posted this issue in the USAirways forum, but it occurs to me that this might be more appropriate here:

Having used up most of my USAirways miles during the year, I'm down to 20,000 Dividend Miles. Yet, I have at least 3 upcoming coast-to-coast trips. I've been thinking about using my ANA number for all of the flights, but am wondering if that's the best option? What about Thai, Lufthansa or Asiana?Should I just put it into MileagePlus (current balance of 50,000)? Do any of these airlines have a household account -- I vaguely recall ANA had it at one point, but now I can't find anything. Any views?

I know I'm not answering your question directly, but I'd recommend that you check out this post. After that perhaps you may have some more specific questions as to one program versus another.
