Round-the-world routing - suggestions requested

Round-the-world routing - suggestions requested
In the Autumn I need to fly
DUB - YOW - YYZ - HYD - JNB - DUB
and am thinking of a Star Alliance Round-the_world ticket. I'm having trouble with the routing though, and seek suggestions. It is particularly the HYD - JNB segment that is giving me trouble, as I cannot backtrack to SIN to get Singapore Airlines flight to JNB. If South African Airways is now a member of Star Alliance I could get a one-way to BOM then get BOM-JNB on SAA.
So far I have
DUB - YOW (bmi DUB-LHR, ac LHR-YOW)
YOW - YYZ (ac)
YYZ - HYD (ac YYZ - HKG, sq HKG-SIN, sq SIN-HYD)
HYD - JNB ?????
JNB - DUB (lhr JNB-FRA, lhr FRA-DUB)
Any suggestions???

Seems to me your only real choice (since SA won't join * before then) is:
HYD-xSIN-JNB-FRA-LHR-DUB, or FRA-DUB (if LH fly it, I have no idea).

Backtracking within a geographical region on a Star RTW is allowed....see the rules in BlondeBomber's document here:

By the way, SIN-HYD and HYD-SIN are not SQ flights. They are operated by SQ's regional subsidiary Silkair (MI). Flights with an MI flight number can't be included in a Star RTW.
What you might want to do is take a stopover in SIN (when you fly HKG-SIN-JNB) and buy a separate SIN-HYD-SIN on either MI (S$900 RT in Y, S$1700 in C) or Air India (AI)

HYD is no *A destination

Second suggestion
I am glad that you like Option 1! Here is another hint: Do not start your RWSTAR Ticket out of Ireland, especially if you fly upfront!
