It's already in the OP but that is the updated link.

Links added to here, some minor clean up and also added some more links on the future *A members.

Anything else should be included?

*A RTW

*A RTW rules - from NZ (effective 1 May 2008) and *A special (economy) RTW rules - from NZ (effective 1 May 2008)

For the latest rules use the link above (other versions of rules included for completeness/comparison with discussion threads, and so I don't lose the links to alternate sources)

...

Hi Kiwi Flyer, thanks for maintaining this great selection of links to valuable *A information. :)

However, I wonder if you wouldn´t like to update the links to the RTW rules on your first post, you are still linking to the May 1, 2008 rules, what have been changed in the meantime at least three times, IIRC. The latest one what I know is from May 29, 2009, the link should be:
*A RTW rules - from NZ (effective 29 May 2009).

An older one is

*A RTW rules - from NZ (effective 15 Mar 2009).

The link to the Lufthansa seating thread appears to be broken; I'm guessing it should point to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...ng-thread.html

That link is broken ...

I'm sure this is here and I'm just missing it with my jetlagged eyes.

Where can I find an updated award chart that compares the *A members on what they charge (mileage wise) for various awards.

Sorry for asking as I'm sure it's right in front of my face

Kiwi Flyer Sep 20, 2009 1:44 pm

Each FFP has it's own chart (and own award rules). Hagbard Viking did a comparison between FFPs, but I don't think it has been updated in a long time.

A few years ago I started an spreadsheet tool comparing awards on selected programs, but the vast differences in rules make it very complicated and the tool did not get finished.

That would make a heck of an application for FT !

A tool where you enter your departure and arrival airports and you get a chart with who charges what... It would expose some tricks of the trade.

Eg 1st class LAX-FRA - 100,000 if you book via Aeroplan but 140,000 if you book on others such as Miles and More or United etc..

Hi,

Where could I find the latest Star RTW price comparison spreadsheet / overview?
Sadly the link for "January 2009 RTW prices" in the first post does not work anymore.

Many thanks!

LH*GOLD Nov 10, 2009 9:53 am

Unfortunately, the nice tools hasn´t been updated since February´09 and is not valid anymore since there were several price changes up to now.

Therefore you could use the RTW online tool to try your possible options of starting locations or ask somebody here for advice on certain locations for your desired booking class Y/C/F and RTW mileage #1 ... #3.

Does anybody here have information about the cheapest starting point for a F RTW. I was not able to find anything better than NRT.
Thank you!

Thank you!

This thread is about "*A Useful Reference Links". Start a new thread for your concern.

OP could use updates especially regarding CO.
