Help with *A RTW
Hi all, maybe the master minds here have an idea:
I need to book a *A RTW, originating somewhere in Europe: Europe - ICN - OMA - ORD - JFK - FRA - Europe
I've been trying to plan this on the *A website, but despite the fact that I could book ICN - OMA (using a newITWMatrix search) for example ICN-xNRT-xORD-OMA (Asiana, ANA, United), the *A tool always tells me it can't make that routing.
Any ideas?

Asiana is leaving Star Alliance if the takeover is successful. They passed most regulatory hurdles.

FT-->Asiana to be acquired by Korean Air. What will happen to my mileage and status?

Yeah, I know. But the Asiana leg is not the issue. I could go United. The tool just doesn't give me any options over a multitude of days.
ICN - xSFO - xDEN - OMA on United is bookable, for example. I could also do Air Canada + United. Etc...

Do you have at least 10 days between the first and the last intercontinental segment and do you have a minimum of three stopovers?
Have you looked at each segment individually to see if that makes a difference regarding availability in the *A tool?
For some proper self-research I would recommend getting an Expertflyer subscription and for the booking an experienced travel agent.

Good idea on the individual segments.
