Using Miles in Australia

"Don't forget you can use your EuroBonus points to travel within Australia on Qantas. For 25,000 points, you can take a return economy class flight anywhere on their network, including Hamilton Island, the nearest airport to Hayman."

Found this on www.scandinavian.net and then choose Australia. Is this a good deal compared to other *FF or Qantas?.

If you want to save your miles for something else, I would recommend Virgin Blue. They are competitively priced, fly to most major destinations and not a bad carrier. When an LCC flies on a route, I typically save my miles and pay the $$. Just my preference.

Actually, flying Business Class on QF within Australia using EuroBonus points is quite a good deal. Just 35,000 points for flights that can be over 4 hours long. I did MEL-CNS for example and thought is was excellent value. The downside is that the Business Class ticket does not get you access to the Qantas Clubs.
