Creative RTW Routing Question

Creative RTW Routing Question

I was wondering whether its feasible to include two separate stopovers in Europe on a RTW ex South-Africa.

Something like ZA - Europe (Stopover) - US - Asia (Stopover) - Europe (Stopover) - Asia (Transfer) - ZA.

I will not need to final flight to ZA and would therefore book it as a connection through SIN and end my trip there.

I know that, according to *A RTW rules backtracking, is OK ex ZA but only one stopover per continent. Is there a way to bypass that rule. I am considering booking a side-trip award to / from the middle-east (is there a 'cheaper' option?).

Any suggestions, routing tips, etc. are very much appreciated. Thanks.

On a *RTW, you can have anything between 3 and 15 stopovers in Europe if you wanted to (although who would with 15 stops being the maximum on any one itinerary!). However, you can't travel between Asia and Europe or v.v. more than once per itinerary, so your proposal is an illegal routing. There is no easy (if any) workaround to travel Area 3 to Area 2 more than once, unless you want to buy a return sidetrip seperately.
Cheers.

You can do a routing like this one: CPT/JNB-FRA-Europe-US-Asia-Europe-FRA-DXB/MCT/THR-FRA-CPT/JNB

You do not have to use your last segment, which is SIN-JNB (5.379 miles), if you buy a RWSTAR ex RSA ticket. However, you have to pay for it.

Not more than one crossing may be permitted between Area 2 and Area 3 in an entire journeyon a RWSTAR ticket.
