Condor?

Hello!

Still working on my routing.

When pulling up BKK-BGI, I get one routing that goes from BKK-CPH?-FRA-BGI. The important one is FRA-BGI which is on something called Condor Air? This is right off the *A Electronic Timetable. Is that a *A carier? The journey is Mar 10 03 if you are looking it up.

Anyone know a good TA in BKK? Someone who speaks English, deals with foreigners, and maybe willing to come to the airport in BKK to drop the ticket off, or ticket it in BKK and mail it FedEx to Tokyo?

Thanks!

Richard

Condor is the 'charter' airline owned by LH. LH is selling it and it is being rebranded as Thomas Cook holidays...didn't think they flew to BGI.

They are airline code DE

You can earn miles on DE for M&M.

rhakim asked: Is DE a *A carrier?

I answered this question already last week, and here we go once again:

rhakim, as you find your destinations, it would be a good idea to consult terms & conditions for RWSTAR tickets.

After doing this, you will find out that RWSTAR fares do not apply on DE.

As patron says, you can only use the RTW ticket on scheduled Star Alliance flights. Trying to take a flight on Condor on one of these tickets won't work, just as trying to take a flight on Tango wouldn't work, even though it is owned by Air Canada. Condor flights only appear in the Star timetable because members of the Lufthansa frequent flyer programme can earn and redeem miles on these flights (they should really be deleted!).

There is no way I can see you making it to BGI on a Star RTW ticket. You could fly to somewhere else in the Caribbean on UA, AC or MX, but even that would cause a problem if you're starting the ticket in North America (under the rules (see Patron's post above) you can't return to the continent you start from until you are finishing the flight).

Thank you all for your kind replies. I'm sorry I did not understand or catch the past in my last thread about Condor.

Thanks again for everyone's patience.
