Worst Lounge!!
Sick of the best lounges, let's vote the worst ones
The contract lounge at AMS that UA uses is very very average, as is the Taj lounge at DEL (again not really a * lounge, though the invite I got to it had a *G logo on it).
For "real" *G lounges I'd rate UA domestic RCC's as pretty bad, though of them I like SFO the best.
Worst international *G lounge I've been in.. hmmm I'd have to say the LH Senator lounge at FRA. Not because of the amenities or the staff who were fine, but for the fact that it was always packed solid, and full of smoke which made it uncomfortable to use.
Just my opinion of course.

For me it's got to be the RCC in the C concourse at ORD. There's never any food or snacks, and the place is a mess.
Generally, the gate area is a much nicer place to wait!
Fortunately, not all RCC's are so bad though.

I too was most disappointed by the LH lounges at FRA, and most German cities like MUC and DUS. They are always overly crowded, both Business and Senator. I really feel bad for top tier and F passengers on LH, who at times must seem pushed aside with all the STARGolds who can use the Senator lounges. Argues for a third top tier level for STAR Alliance. Berlin TXL offered the best overall Senator experience, few crowds, good array of snacks and drink, and airy and interesting sight lines down to the terminal floor.

Nice thread RichardMEL!
For me, most RCCs in the US are pretty bad. No free drinks and mediocre snacks.. I like DCA's RCC though, as I only fly out in the morning and nice to have a cup of coffee there
For international, I must say a contract lounge at MAA... It was soo small and clouded.
I concur with LH's lounges in Germany... How come they are soo small?? I had to stay there for a long transit (6hrs) but at time, there were no seats for people!

Hey guys, what could beat the Chinese Take Out Restaurant in LAX-International terminal (=LH Business Class lounge)?
Great view over the check-in area and into the windows of other airline lounges, choice of numerous warm exotic dishes, free soft drinks (up to the $15 voucher limit), friendly staff, never a problem to get in, and now there even is internet access (across the hall between the doors). Unfortunately, no showers.

without a doubt, the cramped, mosquito-infested oberoi lounge at BOM (used by SQ). to top it all, the staff go around telling passengers that they aren't allowed to lie down or stretch out.... beyond crap.
