RTW E-Tix?

Forgive me if this has been answered before - are RTW tickets issued as E-tickets or paper tickets? I understand that generally you need to ticket the RTW in your country of origin, with the exception that in Canada you can buy a RTW ex-anywhere at the ex-anywhere price (is my understanding correct)?

On that note, has anyone ever taken this "Canadian approach" before and have a travel agency to recommend for the purpose.

Thank you for the reply. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions for a good Canadian travel agency that will ticket an ex-LHR RTW (at the ex-LHR price)?

Will you be flying in eco, biz or first? If biz or first I would recommend you to start in Scandinavia(no advance purchase necessary either) since its cheaper.

CRWSTAR1 ex STO 37589SEK=4005$
FRWSTAR1 ex STO 56616SEK=6032$

This one will be Eco (company will only pay for eco - so I'll be doing my best to upgrade where I can). My next RTW after this one will be personal, so I'll purchase biz ex-Scandinavia or ex-South Africa.

Depending on how many stopovers you like you could get a YRWSPCL for 16760SEK starting in Sweden or 13566DKK in Copenhagen.

Is that the 26k light version? That doesn't sound like such a good deal. For very little more (GBP 1249) you can get a YRWSTAR1 ex LHR.

I believe Skandinavia is only cheap for C and F RTWs, whereas for Y class one should probably choose the UK.
