multiple city --one day pass?

For those in Europe... are there any special packages or prices for doing multiple cities in ONE DAY. I will be based in London.

I know of the AIR PASS, which requires you to do 2 (24 hour) stopovers, but I am looking for something that gives you a good price for all in one day. Yes, I am trying to put together a plan for working the 55,555 run...smile

Looking for something out of LHR... to get in SK, OS, Lft. I have worked out a routing that I can do according to flight times... but just want to find the cheapest way of paying for this routing.

LHR-Copenhagen-VIE-Stutgard-LHR (SK,OS,Lft)

At the moment, the cheapest I can find is with the AIR PASS deal, but that will require me to overnight for 24 hours twice in routing.

Thanks for any help.

Just try BD (BMI) fares only. They price out at half to one quarter of the LH metal on which they codeshare on. BD flight numbers give a good deal, e.g. $386 CAD LHR-FRA same day return on LH planes with BD flight numbers (vs $1200 on LH flight numbers), $140 LHR-MAN same day return on BD planes. You can stay for an hour or all day if you want.

Shop around

If I get BlondeBomber right, then the idea is to accumulate the various carriers needed for the 55k with BD flight nos. According to a mail from LH M&M which I received on this, they count the airline under whose code the flight is issued. In this case all these segments would count as BD, no matter the metal. Might be different in other programmes though.

Actually in most programmes it is the metal that counts not the flight number. Besides, on all the codeshares I have done, it always spits out the metal number not the codeshare.

I have seen and read the email HajoFlyer received from miles&more, confirming that, at least for this promotion, they (miles&more) would 'count' the Flight-number (and not the actual carrier).

But I also know, that until now that wasn't the case (at least not with miles&more).

I very much doubt, that the (emailed to HajoFlyer by miles&more) informations will 'work' out the way they promis/explain (they also say 'something' about the 3 OS-members in that email which contradicts other informations I got so far) - but with that email-info in hand, HajoFlyer will have strong evidence to fight for his case afterwards.

Thanks so much Blonde Bomber... I agree about the BD deals..

My problem is that I want to get the following schedule into one day and one continuous run. It works out with the times and airlines.. just wanting to know if there is something other than the Europe Air Pass that requires two stopovers.

This routing can be done in ONE DAY, no stopover and will give me three airlines.

LHR-Copenhagen-VIE-Stutgard-LHR.. (SK,OS,Lft)

I already have the AC and BD flights looked after on other days. Will only be in London for a short stay, so not practical to do small segments if I can avoid it.

Was hoping that maybe there was a special airline pass or program that allows you to get as many cities as you want for a one day price. Dreaming I think.

Doing LHR-Copenhagen-VIE-Stutgard-LHR on the same day will not be cheap. The only way to do it in one day and not let the price sky rock would be to include it in a RTW ticket.

If you already are in LON take a look at www.travelselect.co.uk where you can book LHR-CPH on RG with same day return for just 110GBP.

thanks kempis... already have included the RG as one of my airlines... Now need just one more. Either OS or SK, which ever I can get the CHEAPEST from LHR.

Have already got AC, BD, Lft, RG...

** It looks like SK or OS are going to be the stinkers in the pricing of this.
