Per the website, Mileage Plus members receive a minimum of 625 miles on MX flight in economy within Mexico. Is this true? Also, one flight is a code share booked as MX but operated by Aeromar/VW, which happens to be a Mileage Plus partner.
Aeromar's minimum mileage guarantee is 250 miles but I would prefer to book as MX unless codeshare flights are not eligible for any credit.
Any thoughts?

For the second part of your question, let's hope someone else might address it.

Ive not been succesfull in getting credit for my Aeromar flights. But, since these were so short, I really didnt follow up with them & all the paperwork. You should get the same mileage, regardless of how you book, as the metal you fly should (at least per the rules) determine you accrual. Thats all theory, in practice, MX is actually known for giving you mileage on award travel... so anything can happen. (
