Class of Service Bonus
A real basic question:
Could someone define and quantify the "Class of Service Bonus" for economy class travel in Blondebomber's comparison chart of *a mid-tier programs. This doesn't exist in the United program, so I'm not familiar with it. Is this just for full Y?

the LH M&M class of service bonus is applied on all booking classes and is 25% of the status miles. this bonus counts as bonus miles _and_ as status miles.

here the (differencies) in crediting class-bonus for UA's Mileage Plus and LH miles&more frequent flier program.
paid business class, any Star-carrier:
* Mileage Plus (any status): 25% bonus (not counting as status miles) in paid business, 50% in paid first
* miles&more with no status: 100% bonus (counting as status miles too) in paid business, 200% in paid first (status too). With LH status (Frequent Flier or Senator) the bonus would be another 50% in business, another 150% in paid first on all StarCarriers, And all these miles count as status miles too.
If you have status, you earn another 25% as a UA Premier, or another 100% as a UA Premier Executive or 1K on UA flights only (also on LH transatlantic flights if booked as UA code-share-flight#). But these miles count only as bonus, not status.

Thanks. My question on COS Bonus was for Economy Class travel. UA gives none, sounds like LH gives 25% which counts for status, how about AC and others?

You don't get any COS bonus when flying economy (doesn't matter if it's full Y or discount Y)! The whole idea of COS bonus is to reward you for paying premium fares which economy is not. Now, if they started selling seats in the cargo area then economy could be viewed as premium... Until then, no COS bonus for economy.
With UA and LH you still get bonuses for being a frequent flyer (Premier, Senator...) when you fly economy.

NYC1, see strflyer's response above. It struck me as strange also, until I read blondebomber's chart. So my question stands.

Question is about COS bonuses applicable for Economy Class travel in certain Star FF programs. (See the Class of Service row Y/N codes in blondebomber's chart.) It seems strange that an Econ. class bonus would be offered, but looks like LH, AC, do offer such.

all LH status holders (Frequent Fliers or Senators) get the following miles&more credits for flying DEN-COS on UA or UA Express in paid eco:
1'250 miles and 1'250 status miles (1'000 minimum miles + 25% LH status bonus = total of 1'250 status miles).
in paid first the credit would be 3'750 (status) miles.
1'250 miles and 1'250 status miles (1'000 minimum miles + 25% LH status bonus = total of 1'250 status miles).
in paid first the credit would be 3'750 (status) miles.

UA Mileage Plus would 'pay' for the same flights in eco:
500 status miles (for anyone), plus a bonus (not counting for status) of 25% = 125 miles for Premiers, and 100% (not status) for Premier Executives and 1K.
Even for paid first the status mileage credit would remain 500 miles, but a class bonus (not counting for status) of 50% (plus the 100% status bonus) would bring the mileage total for a Premier Executive/1K to a total of 1'250 miles.

You must have gotten mixed up...
AFAIK there is no FFP paying a CoS bonus in coach.
Re: UA and LH CoS bonuses
UA pays CoS for biz and F (25%/50% - you'd get 125% / 150% of your actual flight miles credited. Not counting towards status.
LH pays CoS in biz and F (100% / 200%)- dbl./trpl. miles credited). Counting towards status with M&M.
All other bonuses are not class related.

LH pays a 25% "status (ie FTL or SEN)" bonus on top of their Class of Service bonuses. This is a multiplicative effect and all such miles count towards status. No other Star program offers such a multiplicative effect which is why it is shown on the comparison chart the way it is.
econo -- no class of service bonus but with status bonus you get 125% total miles in econo
business -- 100% class of service bonus combined with 25% status bonus means you get 250% miles in total in business
first -- 200% class of service bonus combined with 25% status bonus means you get 375% total miles in first
