Baggage allowance the same on all legs?

This can't be an uncommon question, but I couldn't find an existing answer....

Are baggage allowances the same on both legs of an RT when flights are operated by different *A partners? Are things set based on the first flight of a PNR or does it vary?

For example, I'm flying SFO-FRA on UA and FRA-WRO on LH Cityline, then back on the same carriers. As a GS, I get two free bags outbound. Is it the same on the return, or is Cityline going to give me grief? (They've tried to charge me before, but a supervisor stopped them.)

It's LH operated by Cityline, basically like United Express operated by Skywest/etc. It's treated as a normal *A flight, so you should get 2 bags in Y as you are a *G

As a GS you get 3x70# on UA metal.

On the return your status gets you 2x50# bags.
