SQ offering points in all fare classes!!!

This weekend's UK papers had an SQ ad offering Kris Flyer points for all tickets up until the ned of the year.

Do you think that other * alliance carriers will also offer points on SQ in all fare classes?

on their UK site, it says
<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2">"You can now fly Economy Class* on Singapore Airlines and have the chance to collect frequent flyer miles / points.

*Please note that mileage out of the UK is only valid on Full Economy Class fares and excludes special or discounted tickets.</font>
so, would this ad actually means, out of UK, usually you earn miles only for full-fare (unlike members in the rest of the world), and now you earn miles for some discounted fares as well ?? but i think it'll still exclude the usual V, G, Q, N...i can't imagine SQ would be so generous...

The ad seemed to say that all fares were included - they were selling the fcat that a trip to Oz on SQ ex UK would get you a free flight to Europe.

I saw the ad, too. The small print says the offer excludes group fares, but didn't define group fares.

That would appear to offer points for all fare classes except IT tickets, though most of us must have travelled as individuals on an IT ticket from time to time. I know I have.

So the position is not exactly clear!

Sorry, Stephen and co. I should have made it clearer.

I'll try and do better next time!

According to UA MP rep, you will get 100% mileage on SQ except on Q, N, X and G booking class.

SxChan - I think that is the normal situation with SQ, that they apply all the time, and not just for this offer. The other category unmentioned is SQ's Y booking class tix that then get stamped "no mileage accrual". I got caught with one of those, bought at a discount. Put my ff # in at both ends of the flight, but no points ever appeared. Koala

I hear good things about SQ but they are an airline that I will probably never fly as I am unlikely to get FFPs (this offer aside).

It's the same with BA. I live in the UK but have never flown them long haul becuase until recently there were no points for non-full fare tickets and now it's only 25%.

Anyone know if this offer is still going on??There's a big feature on Australia on their UK web-site, but I couldn't find anything on this particular offer. Thanks!

Found it - it's under special fares on the UK site.
