OS Question
I'm flying BOS-SKG next month. I'm on UA metal to LHR, then switching to OS to SKG (via VIE). I've never flown OS before. Are they any good? How's the interaction with UA? I do the UA to BD switch in LHR frequently, and it works reasonably well. Thanks.

OS matches the comfort/service of any other European StarCarrier for inner European flight-segments.
On longhaule flights (example transtatlantic) OS busineess class (Grande Class) beats every other StarCarrier (except Lauda).

OS ia a very good airline, I flew 2 tranatlantic segments in the last 3 months
and even in Y it was a very good experience.
They have recent airplanes, excellent crew and offer back seat LCD screens w a large choice of movies in Y and J.
I agree the overall experience is similar to other European carriers.
The hub in Vienna is efficient, not too big and offer good connections specially for Eastern European countries.

all (run by OS) Senator and Frequent Traveller lounges at VIE airport (there are several) are open for Star-Gold-members with a same day StarAlliance-carrier boarding pass.

OS was nice and pleasant. Try to use their
lounge in VIE if you have time. I was on F
RTW fare and found their lounge to be one of
the best. *A gold should also get you in. LH
lounge was crowded. FYI OS is really
particular about carry on baggage. I had to
check a bag before boarding.

OS and NG are both great... too bad neither have an F (that would be really something).
