Avoid Tangiers Lounge (TGN)
Tangiers Airport seems to have around 10 flights a day max.
Flew today with TAP from tangiers to lisbon. with tap express.
Checked in, headed airside, then saw the business lounge, tried to go in, doors locked, noone inside. Gave up. After half hour i see a lounge woman walking around inside. Head back to lounge, and ask to be allowed in, she said only business class. i said im a gold star alliance member, she wasnt sure, and said to show invitation from check-in, and also the gold card, i couldt find the gold card on me, so i gave up. Thre was no-one else inside.
Around half hour before scheduled departure, the check-in woman comes to the gate. I ask her if i am allowed lounge access, an also it does say on the boarding pass "entitled to lounge". And i had found the aegean gold card. She wasnt sure either, so we went together to the lounge, and she spoke with the lounge woman, who then proceeded to take the detaiols down. Meanwhile i looked around, there was a fridge with nothing inside. The were 2 PCs, both off, there were 2 small plates, one of cake, and one of some fish i think, which were both taken away as we walked into the lounge, by someother guy who walked in suddenly.
I sat down, but it was stuffy with an annoying fly buzzing round me.
After 2 minutes, i walked out. and then was boarding.
The whole time, i was the only guy in the lounge, as every 2 hours there is another flight, and ours was ony about 2 people.
In other words, if you have a flight from TNG, and want to "use your *G status" dont.
