ORD Lounge
Hey Folks,
I will be having a layover of about 5 hours in the not too distant future in ORD before I fly to IST on Turkish Airlines.
I am *G and flying J on TK so I have a large choice of lounges. Which do you recommend is best? I like good food and comfortable seats.

I am not sure what do you mean by "large choice of lounges", you do realize in ORD when TK departs at T5, there are only two lounges available to you right ? Either LX or SK, both are small and very basic. TK may have a contract lounge, but that contract lounge is operated by WFS share by a bunch of airlines, which is even worse than LX and SK lounge, as WFS is not even an airline, it is a company handle ground operations like check in, gate, and luggage.

Same question asked three weeks ago.

TK uses the Swissport lounge: http://www.flychicago.com/OHare/EN/A...e-Lounges.aspx
Swissport lounge review
There are also Swiss/Austrian and Scandinavian lounges that you could access as a *A member, but the Scandinavian lounge would be awfully crowded since the TK flight is scheduled right between the two SK flights (one to ARN, one to CPH), and they'd most likely claim there's no room and refer you to the Swissport lounge even if you are *A Gold.
The Swiss/Austrian lounge closes after the Zurich flight leaves at 7pm.

Last time I visited these lounges (~3 years ago) I thought the LX/OS one was a little better than the SAS one. Mind you, it is also further away from the gates usually used by TK (~10 minutes walk, vs. 5 for the SAS one).

Yes, have to agree about Swiss lounge. Visiting for the first time now.
Very small. Pretty limited offerings for food. Cold stuff only at 4pm prior to Austrian 5pm departure.
