LHR T2
Last week I had the pleasure of experiencing LHR T2. Modern, calm, sleek, efficient - but I was spoilt for choice when it came to the choice of *A lounges. I was flying SAS and I am TK*G.
I ended up going to the LH lounge, simply because it was a European carrier. They gave me a token to go to the inner Senator lounge (walking through the business lounge as I did so). I couldn't see any difference between the two.
Then I started thinking - was LH my best choice?
Which *A lounge for *G would you recommend at LHR T2?

If your gate is at T2A, it makes sense to use the LH lounge, as it's the only one in T2A. The Senator lounge has a slightly better food selection than the Business lounge.
The other three Star Alliance lounges are in T2B. UA's lounges are surprisingly good. The Club is spacious, and the Global First lounge is a peaceful retreat. I was underwhelmed by SQ's Business a Class lounge - far too small. Their First Class offering is nice and exclusive. AC's Maple Leaf lounge is pretty nice as well, although tends to be busier than SQ's lounges outside of their departure times.
