Transfer miles between *A programs?

Hi,

Is there a way to transfer some of my Mileage Plus miles to Miles & More? Searching through this forum I found an old post mentioning points.com. Is there any other way?

Thanks.

No, each program is a separate entity.

No, points between those FFPs are not transferable

OK, thanks for the clarification guys.
So much for it being an "alliance"

Instread of commenting on what YOU should think an alliance is, why not read what it actually is. Just like all the other airline alliances BTW.

You can book a flight on one airline using miles from an alliance partner. That's far more valuable than a transfer in my eyes.

You cannot transfer points throughout the alliance, but you can use your points to book a flight on another airline in the alliance. If you have *S or *G, your status will apply on the other *A airline.
