Please Help: Best *A FF Program For Me??

Hello,

About twice a year, I fly from Seattle to Asia, usually flying with ANA. Until now, I have used the UA MileagePlus program to register my miles. However, I RARELY fly United airlines in America mainly due to the inconvenience out of Seattle, but I just use it to obtain *A Gold.

I'm not happy that that they continue changing their status qualification criteria, and since I don't fly UA very much domestically, I want to switch FF programs and find a different airline where there isn't a minimum amount of segments you have to fly with them in order to gain status.

I'm thinking Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles. Any thoughts? Good or bad?

Is there a better *A airline that I should use in this case?

Flying only twice a year you are not going to get status with any airline. Its what the "frequent" in frequent flyer programs means. Most ffp's now have a 4 segment requirement

For redemption's UA is still a good ffp. Non USA based ffp's are not a generous as USA airline ffp's

It adds up rather quickly when you only fly business or first class...I got *A Gold last year in just 2 trips to Asia.
