Day pass at lounge

Hi guys,

I don't frequently travel on Star Alliance to make Gold status. I have a flight that will transit in Munich this week and I am flying economy. I have work to take care of so I was wondering if there is away to access the Terminal 2 Lufthansa lounges?
Another question is: I have priority pass, which gives me access to 2x terminal 1 lounges. I have never been to Munich before, can I go between terminals freely?

Thanks

No pay for use lounges in T2. You cannot access the airside T1 lounges without a boarding pass for a flight that is not departing from that concourse.

That said T2 is one of the nicer airports, you will have plenty to enjoy during your wait.

Day pass at lounge

You can take the airside Bus from T2 to T1. It runs every 20 minutes and takes about 20 minutes. The Lounges in T1 are not that good, that it would be worth the hassle. If you have a long layover it might be an adventure.

The T2-T1 bus won't take you if you don't have a ticket/BP evidence/story that you need to get to T1.

I have taken the train from T2 to T1 without a boarding pass, I guess, before. Arrived from ARN on LH at 8AM and went to other terminal's paid lounge, waited to my TAM flight to Brazil, then went back to catch the TAM flight.

Indeed. Just checked. Arrived T1 schengen with LH/SAS, took the train to the other terminal and used the Sky Lounge. No BP needed. Don't know if that was a glitch though.

LH/SAS operate out of Terminal 2 and there is no train. Do you mean FRA?
