Help getting to Juba

I have to travel from NYC to Juba next week. All options seem terrible, but was wondering if anyone had any advice on airlines to absolutely avoid or those that are ok. Options are Kenyan, Ethiopian or Egypt. Least painful in Egypt, but have read terrible things.

I am *G, but may not be able to benefit.

Thanks!

Unfortunately no business for me. And I do think that what happens in Juba does stay in Juba.

Probably would have taken EgyptAir but would have got no miles due to the fair options available in economy.

I would go with ET over MS... I think ET and KQ are both decent choices depending on your alliance preference.

So my first flight got cancelled because my connection to IAD got cancelled. So fly to FRA and then on Ethiopian to Addis and then Juba. THought flight was fine. Was empty, so loads of room. Only issue is that my bag did not arrive in Juba, which is common on ET because they don't tag to Juba. Pretty annoying.

Way back was 17 hour flight from Addis to IAD, with refueling in Rome. Again, all things considered a nice flight. Very friendly staff.

Except for late bag was pretty good.
