NZ booking, middle name not displayed. Mileage?

NZ booking, middle name not displayed. Mileage?
First time booking NZ, and the eticket doesn't show my middle name even though I entered it, which has me worried.
I always fly with my full name. It's on all my passports and FFPs. Problem is, when registering for A3 membership there's no "middle name" field, so I included it in the "first name" field. This is also my usual practice when an airline doesn't have a full middle name field on its booking form (e.g. on SK, UA), to ensure that the name is logged on the database. When there is a middle name field, I enter the name there (e.g. LH). Either way I do it, I've had no problems so far crediting to A3.
But I've never had this problem where my middle name isn't shown on my eticket - and probably won't be on my boarding pass either, I'm guessing. Must I cough up the fee to have NZ push my middle name into the first name field? Or should I get my miles anyway, so long as that middle name is registered on their database?
