Question Atlanta

Hi, I'm trying to save a night's stay in ATL on 18 May by going to the lounge instead. Its a UA flight departing at 0535.

I would like to find out if any Star Alliance lounge is open, and if it is a good option. Thanks for the help!

As far as I know, there are no 24 hour lounges in ATL. Sorry.
The United Club in Concourse D closes fairly early - 8:15 PM according to the united.com website. Lufthansa's lounge area is only open before their early evening flight, so that's no good either.

Even Delta's lounges close by midnight - the latest one is 11 or 11:30 PM. If you're going to stay overnight, it will be in the main airport.

There are fairly inexpensive places near the airport. For instance, I stayed at the Super 8 Atlanta Airport West in December. It was under US$50 and was satisfactory - no Hyatt but I've been in much worse.

Cheaper than a day pass at a lounge.

Good public transport out of ATL, especially for an airport in the USA.

Train / Subway stop right at the airport to get you into town....

Opens up many options for hotel stay, if needed.

Thanks for the replies! Looks like airport hotels is a good option.

Anyway, I realised I can get all the lounge hours in ATL here.
